If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@rocketyoop.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address, authentication status, account ID, and security records needed for sign-in, password reset, email change, and account deletion.
- Profile information you choose to provide, such as display name, username, avatar, bio, birthday, gender, and country or region.
- User content, such as posts, captions, GIFs, Live Photo video media, other uploaded media, comments, reposts, reports, feedback, and related metadata.
- Interaction information, such as follows, rockets, comment likes, broadcast participation, notification records, blocked users, and report history.
- Device and technical information needed to provide the app, such as app version, platform, push notification token, diagnostic logs, storage access needed for uploads or saves, and basic performance or error information.
3. How we use information
- To create, authenticate, maintain, secure, and delete accounts.
- To display profiles, posts, comments, media, social relationships, notifications, and Broadcast features.
- To process uploads, media storage, content downloads when allowed by the author, and app notifications.
- To receive feedback, process reports, enforce blocks, investigate abuse, and keep the community safer.
- To troubleshoot bugs, improve reliability, protect against spam or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Public content and visibility
Information you publish publicly, including your public profile and posts, may be visible to other RocketYoop users according to the app's features. Other users may also see interactions such as comments, reposts, rockets, and Broadcast-related ranking information where the app displays them.
5. Service providers
RocketYoop uses service providers to operate core app functionality, including authentication, database hosting, file storage, email delivery, push notifications, and website hosting. These providers process information only as needed to provide services to RocketYoop.
Current service categories include Supabase for app backend services, Expo and Apple services for push notification delivery, and Alibaba Cloud for hosting this public legal and support site.
6. Photos, videos, and media permissions
RocketYoop may ask for access to your photo library so you can choose media to post, including GIFs, Live Photo video media, and videos. RocketYoop may also request permission to save media to your photo library when an author has allowed in-app downloads. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
7. Notifications
If you enable notifications, RocketYoop stores a push notification token associated with your account so the app can deliver activity notifications. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
8. Tracking, ads, and sale of data
RocketYoop does not sell personal information. RocketYoop does not currently show third-party ads or use personal information for cross-app tracking.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide RocketYoop, maintain account security, operate community safety features, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You can request account deletion inside the app. When account deletion is completed, RocketYoop removes sign-in access and deletes your profile, published content, major interaction records, feedback, and related uploaded media from app storage, subject to limited retention when required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
See Account Deletion for instructions.
